Benetton in Turkey
Boyner became the primary distributor and manufacturer of Benetton in Turkey.

A New Era in Shopping
The phrase "Unconditional Customer Happiness" was trademarked by our group, signaling the start of a new era for consumers in Türkiye.

Altınyıldız Goes Public
Altınyıldız (then known as Altınyıldız Mensucat) went public.
1997
Seeds of NetWork were Sown
Altınyıldız -one of Europe's largest textile manufacturers- initiated the operations of its first retail brand, which would later be named NetWork.
1998
A Groundbreaking Development in Shopping: Installment Credit Card
The Advantage Card introduced by Boyner Group paved the way for the installment credit card market in Türkiye.
1999
AY Marka in the Fashion World
AY Marka Mağazacılık (AY Brand Retailing) started its operation with NetWork and Fabrika brands.
2002
HSBC Agreement for ADVANTAGE CARD
In 2002, HSBC Bank signed a sales agreement with Boyner Group to purchase the Advantage Card, Türkiye's largest card organization developed within the banking industry, boasting 288 member institutions and over 1.5 million card users.
2003
Bespoke, Incessant Support
Back-Up, a first in Türkiye and the world, introduced a brand-new service concept.
2004
Çarşı Became Boyner
Çarşı was renamed as "Boyner Büyük Mağazacılık (Boyner Big Stores)”.
2005
Partnership with Benetton Group
A 50-50 partnership was formed with Benetton Group to oversee the operations of United Colors of Benetton, Sisley, Playlife, and Killer Loop brands in Türkiye and the Turkish Republics. This partnership remained in place until 2012.
2007
Partnership with CVCI
Citigroup Venture Capital International became a partner in Boyner and Beymen, a partnership that lasted until 2013.

Que brand was launched.
A new brand, QUE was established within AY Marka.

New Generation Credit Card: Fish
The new generation credit card "Fish" was launched by the Boyner-Akbank partnership.

Hello to E-commerce!
Our group made its debut in the e-commerce market with Morhipo.com, ushering in a new era in Türkiye by introducing new-season products and special discount campaigns simultaneously.

The New Choice of Business World: BR Mağazacılık
Established with Ran Konfeksiyon, BR Mağazacılık started operations with Altınyıldız Classics and Beymen Business brands in the men's clothing sector.

Customer Loyalty Leader Affinion Acquired Back-Up
Back-Up, the pioneer brand of unconditional customer satisfaction for Boyner Group, was acquired by Affinion International.

YKM Transitioned to Boyner
Boyner Büyük Mağazacılık acquired YKM, the oldest and the most established department store company in our country.

The Largest in Ready-to-Wear: Beymen Zorlu
Beymen unveiled its largest ready-to-wear store, spanning 10,000 square meters at Zorlu Center in Istanbul, marking a milestone for both the brand and Türkiye.

The New Invention of Retail: Hopi
Hopi, hailed as a groundbreaking innovation in retail not only in Türkiye but also worldwide, was founded. It revolutionized the industry with its reward system called "Paracık," offering a rewarding shopping experience through its personalized campaign platform and digital payment solutions. Today, Hopi is present in the pockets of one out of every four people in Türkiye.

Major Investment in Our Group
Mayhoola for Investments LLC, headquartered in Qatar, became a 50-50 partner in Boyner Retail company, which encompasses Boyner, Beymen, AY Marka, and Altınyıldız.

Changing Group Dynamics
Boyner Holding and Mayhoola for Investments LLC concluded their financial partnership by dividing the Boyner Retail company portfolio. Following this, Beymen and AY Marka transitioned to Mayhoola's ownership, while Boyner Büyük Mağazacılık and Altınyıldız remained under Boyner Holding's ownership.

Brooks Brothers
Established in the USA in 1818, Brooks Brothers has been a pioneer in creating iconic pieces for over two centuries. The brand embodies design, quality, and craftsmanship, reinterpreting classic American style in a modern context through its collections. Today, the legendary non-iron shirts from Brooks Brothers continue to lead the fashion world with their contemporary interpretations. Partnering with Boyner Group, Brooks Brothers entered Türkiye and set a record by opening 25 new stores in a very short time in 2023.

After graduating from the Faculty of Business Administration at Boğaziçi University in 1978, Cem Boyner embarked on his business career at Altınyıldız, a family company. He led as the Chairman of the Executive Board of Boyner Holding from 1982 to 1994. Assuming the presidency of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) between 1989 and 1990, Cem Boyner joined the Board of Directors of Boyner Holding in 1996. Following Osman Boyner's appointment as the Honorary Chairman in 2010, Cem Boyner assumed the Chairmanship of the Board of Directors of Boyner Holding. Presently, Cem Boyner also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors in other Group Companies.
